Yeah, I stayed up all night making this--what have you done with your time?
Impasse at the Zoo from Anthony Holden on Vimeo.
Currently, my class at BYU is in the throes of production of an animated short with the working title of Izzy (after the main character). As the final product will be computer animated, I have made it my goal to contribute as much material as possible that I know has absolutely no chance of making it into the final cut of the film. So far, I'm succeeding.
This weeks offering to the gods, as seen above.
Hope it's fun for you too!
i made a new website!
ReplyDeletebut you win, my website is making no-one smile and it has no monkeys.
also the guard has a really funny walk cycle and your music choice is perfect.
great job!
Anthony! This is awesome! I love how the zookeeper's fingers unfurl in a row as he pops up. Did you make this in flash?
ReplyDeleteAt the very least, if it won't make the final cut, this should be the closing credits (or special features DVD).
This is simply awesome. I love the little fountain pose. Nicely done!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely should be on the special features.
you are my hero forever, anthony.

ReplyDeleteThis is Tiffany Strong - can I show that to my class! Also can you come in and talk to them on the importance of WORK and how much WORK it takes to do anything - especially animation. That was perfect!
ReplyDeleteAnthony, that's just sick (meaning wonderful and awesome.)

ReplyDeleteI was just at the zoo yesterday. I wish it would have been more like this; Just a crazy monkey and a zookeeper. I can't believe how busy the zoo was on a Monday! Is there any day during the week that you can go to avoid a huge crowd?
