And even though we've been going out to paint architecture, I have this weakness for bikes from the 1970s. These two are Schwinns, even though I prefer European models such as my Raleigh import or a nice Bianchi. When torn between a love of bikes and sketching, what's better than sketching bikes?
Although, it is sad to see them in such disrepair--I want to adopt every mistreated bicycle I see, and love it back into working order, but our small two-bedroom apartment won't allow it.

Awww, poor mistreated bikes. You should create a bike-pound for poor unfortunates like them.
Maybe we should STEAL BIKES for our next sketch adventure!!! I mean, after public lewdness, indecent exposure and attempted breaking and entering, what's a little larceny?

Anthony, your middle bicycle sketch perfectly recreates the sensation of my eyes focusing and defocusing in real life. When I look at the bike in the foreground, it's like the BG just slips peacefully into blur. I love it!

I don't know about Costa vida, but J Dawgs would actually be a great sketch.
